Catholic Charities announced this week it has started processing applications for the 2021 season. Grants for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program are first come first serve, so those who need help should get their applications in as soon as possible. You do not need to repay this grant, it is not a loan.

Approved applicants will receive a grant that doesn’t have to be repaid, making this a valuable resource to low income individuals and families or those who are experiencing financial hardships due to covid-19, job loss, medical events or any unforeseen circumstances that have a negative financial impact.
