With temperatures on the rise, spring is a great time to make sure your home heating system and oil fired furnace or boiler is clean and ready to perform for the coming winter. Here is a quick list of things you can do now to make sure you won\u2019t have any surprise problems next fall.<\/p>\n<\/div>

    Inspect Your Tank<\/strong>
    \nMake sure your oil tank is in good, reliable working condition. Check for wet spots, leaks, damage or any other signs that your fuel tank may need attention or replacing. If you find damage or leaks, call immediately for a quote to replace it.<\/div><\/li>

    Clear Clutter<\/strong>
    \nDuring springtime it\u2019s easy for plants to creep in on outdoor tanks. Likewise, during the winter months it\u2019s easy for life to pile up in areas of the home. Make sure your tank is free from debris, plants and any clutter in your basement or garage like tools, bikes, boxes or other household items.<\/div><\/li>

    Schedule a Cleaning or Service<\/strong>
    \nGetting your oil fired furnace or boiler cleaned and serviced during spring or summer is a smart decision. Often it is easier to schedule an appointment during these times and it means your system will be ready to get to work for autumn and winter. A service technician can inspect, clean and repair your equipment should you need it. Tank or system installations are also options should you need to replace or upgrade any part of your home\u2019s heating system.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><\/ul>
