Not sure how you’ll afford to pay for your home heating oil? Don’t worry, there is help! The Delaware Energy Assistance Program contracts with Catholic Charities to help Delaware residents living on low income, as well as those who are experiencing an emergency or crisis and are unable to pay their heating or energy bills. This program is funded by the US Dept. of Health & Human Services, through LIHEAP. This assistance is provided in the form of a cash grant directly to your energy provider, or heating oil supplier, which does not have to be repaid. Each grant varies in amount based on income and household size. When you apply with Catholic Charities, be sure to name American Energy Supply as your fuel supplier. Once the energy assistance is approved for your household, they will send us your grant directly so we can deliver heating oil to you. Your account number can be found on past receipt tickets, or just give us a call and we can provide you with it.
